All ICP Psychologists are fully registered with AHPRA and Members of the Australian Psychological Society.  We comply with the APS Code of Conduct and believe in providing a confidential, welcoming and safe environment to our clients. ICP Psychologists  are experienced in a number of therapeutic techniques, primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, to help you with practical, real life techniques you can take away and implement in your everyday.

Counselling Fast Facts

How much is a session and how long does it go for? 

Sessions are approximately 50-60 mins. Fees are $220 per session for private counselling.

Fees are $300 per session for corporate coaching or EAP. We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Do I need a Referral?

You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist at ICP, however Medicare rebates apply for clients with Mental Health Care Plan from a GP. More information about Psychology rebates can be found here

Can I claim on Private Health?

Yes, if Psychology is covered by your Insurer. The amount of rebate will vary per person depending on your insurer and level of cover.

Please note we do not have HICAPS onsite for Health Fund or Medicare Rebates. 

What if I can't make my appointment?

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice as cancellation fees may apply for late changes. We ask if you are feeling unwell, or are under Covid isolation orders or instruction, to please reschedule your appointment or transition to a Telehealth appointment (Phone or Zoom).

 

Do you have Parking & Wheelchair Access?

Yes, we have wheelchair access and wheelchair parking. Street parking is available in surrounding streets and Brunswick Street Secure Parking is available only 4 mins walk away (entry off Berwick St). Parking station map can be found here. We are a 10 minute walk to Fortitude Valley train station and only five minutes drive from the CBD.
